Meet Tryphena, Our New Administrative Assistant

We’re very happy to welcome the newest addition to the CASA team. Please meet Tryphena Jefferson, our new Administrative Assistant. As you walk into the CASA office, you will be welcomed with Tryphena’s friendly face and a warm greeting. Please make sure to say “Hi,” and introduce yourself, since Tryphena is very excited to meet everyone.

Tryphena joined CASA just a few days ago, and it’s one of those situations where we all feel we’ve known her for years. Tryphena says that her goal at CASA is to help staff, volunteers or foster youth in any way she can to help build a strong CASA program.

Tryphena was born and raised in Daly City by her mother who was her inspiration, and provided unwavering support for Tryphena. In 1998, the family, including her mother and two sisters, moved to Pittsburg. Tryphena participated in Opportunity Junction’s job training program, which helped her to update her administrative assisting and computer skills. In addition to the training at Opportunity Junction, Tryphena also has seven years of experience in a variety of administrative roles.

Tryphena is passionate about her family, cooking, baking and event planning. She says “putting all those together brings nothing but laughter and good times.” Tryphena says she loves the arts, and while “for some that means picking up a paint brush, for me it lies more in culinary arts. Being in the kitchen with fresh ingredients on any given day leads to magic in the kitchen.” We look forward to trying all the delicacies Tryphena is planning to bring to the CASA office.
