Travis Credit Union Foundation Awards CASA $28,000

CASA Contra Costa is grateful to our generous individual supporters who together contributed $14,000.00, which in turn was matched by the generosity of Travis Credit Union, via its Foundation’s COVID-19 Relief Initiative. 

Foster youth are particularly vulnerable during this pandemic, which made this $28,000 joint contribution that much more important. Our volunteers have been in regular contact with the youth whom we serve, and, together with our growing free teletherapy program, we have been able to mitigate some of the distress caused by the pandemic. Our volunteers continue to serve as  dependable, compassionate and ardent supporters of their assigned youth.
